Mary-Anne is a graduate student in French studies at the university of New Mexico with a keen interest on Francophone literature. Her research explores the rich literary traditions and contemporary voices within the Francophone world, with a particular interest in the cultural and social narratives emerging from African and francophone authors. She is passionate about examining the intersections of language, identity, and postcolonialism in Francophone literature, aiming to contribute to the broader understanding of these diverse literary landscapes.
