Chinese New Year Event: Making Sweet Rice Balls 包汤圆，庆元宵
On the 15th day (Chinese lunar calendar) of Chinese New Year , it is the Lantern Festival, or 元宵节. In China, people usually have a dessert soup--the sweet rice ball soup on that evening, and visit lanterns exhibition with their family.
You are cordially invited to attend a sweet rice ball making event to celebrate this traditional Chinese festival with the Chinese Program and the Chinese Language and Culture Club.
When: February 19th, Tuesday, 3:30-5:30pm
Where: Ortega Hall (3rd floor), World Language Lounge
Who: Open to Chinese students, Chinese Club members, Chinese faculty, FLL faculty
